From the NPU-D meeting on Tuesday night, I have this to report:
 
On Tuesday, September 27 (always the 4th Tuesday at 7:30), NPU-D had its
first joint in-person/virtual meeting, since covid, at the Agape Center.
There were only 6-7 in-person attendees but quite a few virtual attendees,
particularly from the Hills Park Neighborhood. The primary item on the
agenda of relevance to all NPU-D neighborhoods was the yearly approval of
the by-laws. Three amendments, primarily of a clarifying nature, had been
proposed and vetted at earlier meetings. Now, on this night for voting the
bylaws up or down with or without amendments, there was much questioning of
the amendments by the Hills Park residents. When the vote was taken, all
in-person attendees voted to approve the bylaws with amendments. However,
the full vote was to approve the bylaws without the added amendments. I
was an in-person attendee.
