Security Patrol Update

In the last 2-week period (Feb 12 - 25), 42 incidents were reported in Beat 204. Of those, 4 occurred in the area we patrol.

2/22/2022: At about 2pm, a car struck a mailbox on the 1700 block of Defoor Ave and left the scene. The resident reported it to APD electronically on 2/24.
2/16/2022 and 2/23/2022: A resident on Rhomboid reported suspicious activity. I'm leaving this one purposefully vague to protect the privacy of the reporting party.
2/25/2022: A resident reported a theft/fraud involving someone known to the victim/reporting party.

Significant Incidents

2/12/2022: A victim was assaulted at her residence on the 1900 block of Defoor Ave. The suspect was known to the victim. The case is under investigation by the Aggravated Assault Unit.
