UHNA was previously made aware of severe overcrowding on the morning school bus from Underwood Hills to NAHS.
Although a temporary fix relieved the problem it has become an issue again, in violation of Code 160-5-3-,13. Please email the following to let them know this problem is Urgent, or use APS Let's Talk (include your child’s name, student ID, school, bus stop and bus number on correspondence):
Subject: Re: Safety Issues: Bus Route 1012: URGENT "regarding bus 21-019. [student name, ID] School Bus route 1012 stops at [ie Defoor Ave NW & Davis Circle] and is full of children standing up all the way to NORTH ATLANTA HIGH SCHOOL in violation of Code 160-5-3-,13. My child is currently standing up while the bus drives up the interstate. This is unacceptable and unsafe. If that bus needs to break on the interstate, children would fly through the windshield.
