Each year the Fulton County Board of Assessors issues notices of assessment to every property in Fulton County, pursuant to state law. The notice includes an assessment of each property's fair market value (FMV).
If a property owner does not believe their assessment represents the fair market value for their property, they have the right to file an appeal within 45 days of the date of the Notice of Assessment. Remember: the appeal process is free and can conveniently done online- but you have to file on time.

The appeals deadline for most property owners is July 24, unless another date is specifically printed on the notice of assessment.
