Mary Norwood's office sends this reminder; Solid Waste Fee Adjustment
Due to a legal review of the method by which solid waste rates are determined, the City must propose new options for collecting solid waste fees. The three options for fee collection are:
Solid Waste Rate Adjustment Information "Three pieces of legislation are being introduced to the Atlanta City Council on April 18, 2022 related to the possible options for collecting fees for garbage collection, yard trimmings, recycling and special services. The legislative and public engagement process will begin on April 18 and is expected to last until June 21st. The public can be a part of this process through review and comment via NPUs, public comment during city council committees, public comment during full council meetings, and public comment during the official public hearing."
