Robbery
On October 23, 2023, APD took a report of a carjacking that was alleged to have occurred at the 1500 block of Howell Mill Road.  The details of this incident are under investigation.  The reporting party was admittedly intoxicated when the vehicle was allegedly stolen, did not immediately report it to the police, received a ride home to Lithonia from an unknown party after the incident, and the car was soon recovered with heavy front-end damage in Dekalb County.  The incident is under investigation.
