In the last 2-week period, 39 incidents were reported in Beat 204.  Of those, only one crime/traffic incident occurred in the area we patrol.  On May 1, 2022, a motorist was stopped for running a stop sign at Defoor / Marvin.  He was unlicensed and possessed marijuana.  He was taken to the city jail.

Significant Incidents:

• Aggravated Assault
  • On April 25, 2022, at about 8:55 pm, a dispute between roommates on Defoor Village Court resulted in one pistol-whipping the other before leaving in the victim's car.  A warrant was subsequently issued for the suspect.  The following day, he was apprehended while in possession of the victim's vehicle and a firearm near Pharr Rd / Peachtree.  He was arrested  for the warrant and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
• Rape
  • This incident was misclassified as a rape.  In addition, it did not occur in the immediate area but was reported at 1801 Howell Mill Rd, which is why it appeared in the crime stats.
