Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum is to be the featured speaker at the September 14th BCN meeting. They would like to welcome him with a large turnout to support our Zone 2 Commander Major Mitchell.  This will be an open meeting without Zoom because our Auditorium does not support Zoom. 
BCN also wants to spread the word about the Citizens Police Academy.  So far Zone 2 has no applicants.  "Please consider attending the next session (September 5 to October 24) ...  You will not regret it.  I loved every minute I was there.  It was worth it just to visit SWAT and take a turn in the training simulator.  (I immediately died!). I know if is a big time commitment, but they are very understanding if you cannot make every session."
