There are 2 issues which will be on the January 24 NPU agenda (as well as a Blandtown issue that's close to us).  I don't think any of this is likely to rouse up anybody, unless it's something likely to have a really deleterious effect on the area that people could oppose.

We will send this to the UHNA Steering Committee members before January 23 meeting before I recommend approving the applications on behalf of UHNA.

1. An LRB application for Affordable Spirits at 1151 Chattahoochee Ave in Underwood Hills. This site does not meet the distance requirements, but we endorsed a waiver for it in March 2017 when the proposed business was to be a boutique liquor store called "Poetic Spirits". Our condition on that, which was later attached to the enabling legislation, was that the business on the site must derive at least 90% of its revenue from liquor, beer, and wine because we did not want another convenience store. The proposed business appears to meet that requirement. This will be on our agenda this month.
2. An LRB change of agent  request for Dashmart at 1360 Seaboard Industrial Blvd in Underwood Hills. We just approved a new business application for them in August, so I guess they have a lot of employee turnover. This will be on our agenda this month.
3. A special event called Mental Awakening 2023 at 1611 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd at Steady Hand Brewery in Blandtown (across the street from Top Golf) on April 1st. I don't know much about this, but it will be a voting item for us, which probably means alcohol. This will be on our agenda this month.
