It's a family affair! Join us for a Westside Art Series session hosted by George Galbreath. George is an arts educator and experienced youth art instructor.  The session begins with a tour through the Echo Contemporary Art Gallery. After gathering inspiration from featured artists, George Galbreath will lead the group in a hands-on art demonstration. All supplies are provided. Show up with your creativity and leave with your masterpiece.

Introducing your instructor George Galbreath 
 
 George received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Howard University and completed his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Missouri-Columbia. George currently serves as the Art Department Chair at Westlake High School. His work has been showcased in the solo exhibition at P2 Gallery, the African American Art Exhibition at the Actors Theatre, and several exhibits throughout the city of Atlanta. George was also awarded the Roanne H. Victor Merit Award; Juried Plein Air Exhibit at Rice Gallery. He has received awards for Best in Show and Honorable Mention at the Georgia Art Educators Association (GAEA) exhibit. George was a Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series semi-finalist. He is the co-founder of non-profit UAE Youth Artist Program and co-founder/co-curator of ARTiculate ATL in Atlanta, GA. George Galbreath finds inspiration living in the historic arts district of Castleberry Hill with his wife Esohe. George has continued to maintain a career as an art educator and as a successful working artist.
