We’ll have our Underwoods Hills Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday March 24 at Underwood Hills Park at 4pm.  Everyone is welcome.


Please drop off a dozen eggs filled with age appropriate goodies on the front walkway of my home, 1805 Ridgeway Avenue by noon March 24.


Please mark your bag of eggs based on each child’s age group (0-2, 3-6, 7 and up).


Please arrive for the Hunt at 4pm or earlier. We could always use help hiding eggs and once the event starts, the eggs are picked up pretty fast.

ACERT is the "master class" for FEMA's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.  It provides excellent instruction in how to protect your family and community in case of disasters, large and small, such as CPR, first aid, fire suppression, and many other skills which you may need in your daily life.  It may seem that four hours a week for seven weeks is a big time commitment, but the knowledge and experience you will receive are worth every minute of your time.  If you have any questions, please contact Cynthia Williams at [email protected] .
 
ACERT is back!!! Receive hands-on training on how to prepare for disasters through a FREE 7-week course. Classes will be held Monday nights from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM at Station 28 (1925 Hollywood Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318). There is an upcoming class in April/May and another in September/October. ​As the city continues the year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of Atlanta’s Neighborhood Planning Units (NPU) -- conceived and established by former Mayor Maynard Jackson, the Department of City Planning is excited to commemorate Mayor Jackson’s birthday by hosting Legacy Week. The week starts with Public Engagement Day.  
 
Public Engagement Day is Monday, March 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the atrium of Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30303.
 
Join us for interactive activities and informative discussions about the City initiatives shaping Atlanta's future.
