MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated by Congress as a national day of service - “a day on, not a day off.” Please join us in service at the Underwood Hills Park, helping to spruce things up in preparation for a tree planting event and upcoming improvements to the playground area and lower field. Tasks include picking up litter and broken equipment, clearing downed branches, pressure washing the playground steps and covering graffiti. Please bring your own work gloves and water. If anyone has a chainsaw and/or a pressure washer that you'd be willing to bring and operate, please email park@underwoodhills.org. And if you can’t join us at the event, please consider picking up any rubbish around your house or on your street. Any little bit helps!
