P1011.002 Climate Resilient ATL: Building Climate Resilience in Atlanta Communities, Together!

Atlanta is growing, and with that growth comes the responsibility to ensure our city is safe , sustainable , and equitable for all. As part of the Mayor’s Moving Atlanta Forward agenda, this course will explore the critical investments and strategies shaping Atlanta’s future—from building a resilient mobility network to advancing community-led climate initiatives .

Participants will gain insight into:

The importance of infrastructure in fostering economic growth and global competitiveness
Atlanta’s first community-led, data-driven Climate Resilience Action Plan
Key sustainability goals , including 100% clean energy , reducing energy burdens, and improving food access
Strategies to address climate challenges , such as flooding, extreme heat, and drought

By understanding these initiatives, community members can play an active role in shaping a city that is prepared for the future. Join us to learn how Atlanta is leading the way in resilience, sustainability, and equity!
