In the 2-week period (Sep 21 - Oct 4), 48 incidents were reported in Beat 204.  Of those, one occurred in the area we patrol.  On September 27, 2024, around 3:45 pm, a resident stopped his vehicle on the 1800 block of Harper Street and got out to look at a tree that had fallen.  After he walked away, a black Kia pulled alongside the victim's truck.  A suspect emerged and stole multiple items.  The victim was able to provide a temporary license plate number.  The incident is under investigation by the Larceny from Auto Unit.
