While all eyes are on the presidential election, there's another race on the ballot this November in Atlanta - City Council Post 3 At-Large. Please join us and a number of leading community organizations in Atlanta this Thursday, October 3 at 6:00pm at the IBEW Building for Atlanta City Council Post 3 At-Large Forum. RSVP HERE At the heart of everything the Center for Civic Innovation does is a belief that local politics matter. The policies and decisions that are made on a local level - whether in City Hall or at neighborhood meetings - have an outsized impact on the day-to-day lives of Atlantans. And yet despite this, the elections that decide who will fill critical leadership roles in this city have woefully low turn-out. CCI is on a mission to change that. For ten years, we have hosted programming during election seasons (which, as Georgians know, is year-round) to bring attention to candidates and their platforms for the future of the city.
