The Beltline is hosting a special combined Atlanta Beltline Northside and Westside Study Group on the Beltline Transit Study November 14. They and their consultant team will share updates focusing on the study’s progress to analyze transit alignments (or routes) and station locations in the Northwest quadrant of the Beltline, including a brief overview of the study’s purpose, goals and objectives, planning process, etc. along with updates on the analysis of alignments and station locations in the Southwest and Southeast quadrants. Participation and feedback will inform the next steps of the analysis as they move the study forward and aim to achieve goals of connectivity, sustainability, equity and inclusion, and efficient implementation and operations. Participants will engage in interactive discussions to help identify preferred routes and stations while enhancing regional connectivity and ensuring equitable transportation solutions for all. The next UHNA GM includes an item for an official member vote; -Zoning variance V-24-208 1846 Harper Rd NW "Applicant seeks a special exception from the zoning ordinance to 1) reduce the front-facing garage to be recessed and located a minimum distance from the required ten-linear feet to 0-feet and 2) allow for a parking bay outside of driveways in the required front yard." UHNA uses member funds to pay USPS to deliver the quarterly newsletter, but the results appear inconsistent. There have been reports of some streets apparently getting no newsletter at all, and last issue took more than 6 days to arrive (instead of the usual 2 or 3).
PLEASE TELL US if you didn't receive the printed newsletter last week so we can follow up with USPS. |
