In the last 2-week period, August 23 - September 5, 25 incidents were reported in Beat 204. Of those, none occurred in the area we patrol. A breakdown of incidents reported in the surrounding area:  Significant Incidents
On August 24, 2025, APD responded to Liberty Parkway in reference to an altercation between motorists. Officers spoke with one man that remained at the scene. He alleged the other man pointed a firearm at him. The incident is under investigation by the Aggravated Assault Unit. Best, Det. Of those, one occurred in the area we patrol. On August 16, 2025, a resident on Davis Circle requested the police to issue a criminal trespass warning to a male that had been making unwanted contact / communication. A summary of incidents reported in the surrounding area:  There were no significant incidents to report.
The patrol team is aware of a male that has been reportedly staying in the park overnight and that has had some confrontational communication with residents. The team is checking the park at night. We ask residents to call 911 to report suspicious activity and then call the patrol phone to make the patrol team aware. We will keep an eye out for this individual. Best, Det.
