Deadline is Saturday, May 3, at 5:00 PM.  The next quarterly General Meeting of the UHNA is coming up Monday May 12.
So far we have one item requiring a vote on the Agenda (a zoning variance for a house renovation), and a presentation by a developer for a project just outside Underwood Hills. The official notice with details will go out to subscribers May 2, and on our Calendar. If you have something you'd like included in the agenda please send details via email to [email protected] by May 1st.  In the last 2-week period (April 5 - 18), 31 incidents were reported in Beat 204. Of those, one occurred in the area we patrol. On April 10, 2025, a motorist was arrested for driving without a license on Defoor Avenue. A summary of other incidents reported in the surrounding area:  There were no significant incidents to report.

Kevin Leonpacher Atlanta PD / Underwood Hills Patrol A small group of volunteers will be rejuvenating the pollinator gardens in Underwood Hills Park this Wednesday at 9am if anyone would like to join.…  Resident Emily Muhlberger reported tagging on the Bridge near Collier and Woodland Hills. UHNA Beautification Chair Seaver Lippit leapt into action and it was soon taken care of. Thank you neighbors! Every year Trees Atlanta do a 2-day, 12 project, 400-500 volunteer invasive removal event in April. This year also happened to be the 40th anniversary, so the goal was to incorporate the sites that they have been working in the longest. Underwood Hills park just happens to be one of those sites. Around 40 volunteers showed up Friday April 18 to clear invasive weeds from the Certified Wildlife and Audubon Habitat at the corner of Harper St. This work enables native species that support indigenous wildlife to emerge and flourish.
It's that time of year again- time for Underwood Hill's biggest social event! As in previous years UHNA is utilizing Member and sponsor funds as well as generous in-kind donations to provide free food, beverage and entertainment for all. There's be Candy floss, Corn-hole, Station 23 Firetruck, Raffle offering substantial prizes including as a Party for 6 at Your 3rd Spot, several restaurant vouchers, Braves, United and Miami tickets!
